Robin & Hannah... two utterly spectacular humans, and H O W gorgeous was their September wedding?!!
The day began in a quaint village just outside of Sherborne with the girls, and my second shooter with the boys, in central Sherborne. As an advocate of a second shooter, you can see a small preview of the impact of capturing the boys as well as the bridal party, on a wedding morning. I always advise my couples to consider a second shooter if the boys are either in a wonderful (and different!) location to the girls, or if like Robin they are planning a drink or walk to the ceremony. These can make for really great shots!
The mornings went smoothly, and the gorgeous Hannah was ready to travel to one of the most spectacular ceremonies I've had the pleasure of shooting- at Sherborne Abbey!
Again due to the size of the Abbey it was almost integral to have the two shooters- Abbey's have different rules and regulations to churches or civil ceremonies, so being able to capture the stunning scenes from the back as well as some close up, intimate shots from the side was great.
The wonderful ceremony was then followed by a reception held at another of my favourite Dorset venues, Lower Stockbridge Farm (tagged below!). Fresh, lush gardens paired with the beautiful barn is really one of my favourite kind of locations to shoot, as you have so many options for couple and group shots.
Couldn't be happier for these two newlyweds, a true show of love and laughter, enjoy the preview!
