A crisp sunny winter day is exactly what we envisioned when planning the photography for Emily & Rob's country winter wedding... and W O W weren't we lucky!
It was the perfect December day for this countryside setting, at the totally beautiful Corn Barn near Exeter. Avoiding a traditional Christmassy theme, Emily and Rob had created a classy yet wintery feel, from the decorations in the barn, to the Navy and gold colour scheme.
The day began at Emily's mum's house, around 20 minutes from the ceremony venue. A personal friend of mine, and make-up goddess Laura Le-Page bridal make-up was there with the girls for the morning, getting the wedding party ready. We then all traveled into the small village close by to the hairdressers, which gave me a new environment to shoot in, and did give the morning a different vibe and was really fun to shoot!
As you can tell from the gallery above, once we arrived at the barn their day was in full swing. From the ceremony all the way through to the first dance, it was full of emotion, laughter and quirky moments. I absolutely adored capturing Emily & Rob's special day, and could not be happier with the final photographs.
