On a gloriously sunny Monday in the middle of August, we celebrated the wonderful wedding of Jenny & Josh. Revisiting the amazing Goathurst church, and one of our favourite venues- Huntstile Organic Farm, I knew we were in for a great day.
Most couples believe that the ideal weather conditions for their wedding day is brilliant sunshine and hot weather- while this is amazing for the overall enjoyment of the day for the bride, groom and guests, this can mean a little more thought has to go into arranging photographs.
The right amount of sunlight and angle is vital for those must have romantic shots, (a bride squinting is not a good look!) as well as the group shots, again to ensure everyone is not looking directly into the sun- no matter how pretty the backdrop!
The wedding morning was a mixture of laughter, a fully relaxed bridal party and happiness all round. This always leads to the best natural shots and big wonderful smiles!
The church and reception went without a hitch- it was such a joy to shoot, and Jenny and Josh were the perfect combination of relaxed, happy and wrapped up in each other as newlyweds.
The photographs really reflect their happy, cheerful personalities, which reflected throughout their wedding day. We only shot up until the wedding breakfast, so no, no photographs are missing!
What an utterly enjoyable day to shoot and edit!
